Overview The Rally Hotel is an independent, lifestyle hotel located in Denver’s downtown McGregor Square. The 182‑room hotel is adjacent to Coors Field and features a surrounding entertainment block with restaurants, retail and a circulating plaza. This position will be posted for the next 30 days or until filled. Job Overview Plan and manage the Starbucks outlet to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and local regulations, and meet/exceed financial goals. Responsible for short‑term planning and daily operations of the shop, and for recommending promotional ideas and managing Budgets for the area. Responsibilities Manage human resources across the outlets to attract, retain and motivate employees: hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach, counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, ensure open communications, and handle discipline and termination as appropriate. Implement company programs and manage operations of restaurants, room service and other food and beverage outlets to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and local laws, delivering quality hospitality. Forecast and monitor outlet budgets and components (labor, food and beverage costs, supplies, equipment) to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate staffing and supplies for high‑quality service. Respond to customer trends, needs and issues to ensure a quality experience and drive future sales. Create and implement promotions, displays, buffet presentations and ideas to attract in‑house guests and expand local market share. Monitor maintenance and sanitation of outlet areas and equipment to protect assets and ensure quality service. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Education/Formal Training: More than two years of post high school education. Experience: One to two years of employment in a related position with the company or other organization. Knowledge/Skills: Excellent comprehension for assisting with guest and associate matters. Vision for seating guests, expediting food, cleaning equipment, reading floor plans, charts and schedules. Excellent oral communication for interacting with guests and associates and conveying policies. Ability to read and implement policies and procedures; write schedules and read forecasts and SOPs. Knowledge of chemicals/agents for training purposes. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities. Lift, push, pull and carry tables, chairs, trays, plates and chafing dishes daily (20–40 lbs). Bend to pick up items and assist in serving or obtaining supplies. No kneeling required. Mobility required to cover all outlet areas during shift. Continuous standing at hostess station with minimal stationary standing elsewhere. Climb stairs; varies by location. No driving required. Environment Inside 95% of shift; temperatures may exceed 100°F at locations with outdoor dining or when assisting in kitchen.
