WHAT
The CityTeam Internship program is designed to give interns career development opportunities to help them meet their professional goals. Everyone who interns at CityTeam finds it to be a rewarding way to build their resume and expand their network while addressing issues of poverty, hunger, homelessness, and addiction .
WHO
Our internships include opportunities in field positions such as recovery/social work, community/family outreach, and youth camps . Internship opportunities are also available in internal departments such as donor/volunteer development, marketing, finance, HR, IT, and our learning/career center . Interns work side-by-side with CityTeam employees, including a supervisor/mentor who ensures you will gain the hands-on experience and real-life skills practice that you can take with you to future jobs.
WHEN and WHERE
Internships are 20 hrs/week and six months in duration. CityTeam is located in San Jose, Oakland, and San Francisco, CA; Chester, PA; and Portland, OR. Our internships are unpaid internships, with a $500/month stipend to help defray the costs of the internship.
