Senior Videographer / Photographer

The Role We're looking for a Senior Videographer/Photographer with drone experience who can walk onto any shoot, whether it's a luxury home listing, a corporate event, a brand portrait session, or an aerial overview, and deliver work that's ready. This is a hands-on, client-facing contractor role for someone who takes pride in their craft, knows how to make people feel comfortable on camera, and doesn't need to be micromanaged on set.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan and shoot video and photo content for a range of client projects including real estate, events, brand campaigns, and people/portrait work
• Must have experience using a gimbal. This is essential to the job!
• Direct clients and subjects on camera, including positioning, posture, movement, and expression, to get the best possible shot without making people feel awkward or stiff
• Operate drones for aerial photography and videography, including property overviews, event coverage, and cinematic brand content
• Lead shoots from pre-production through final delivery, handling shot lists, lighting setups, and on-site direction
• Collaborate with our internal team on creative direction and ensure content aligns with each client's brand and goals
• Manage footage organization, file delivery, and revision workflows
• Stay current on industry trends and bring fresh ideas to the table

What We're Looking For

• MUST know how to use and operate a gimbal at an expert level (do NOT apply if this is new)
• MUST be punctual an on-time!
• 4+ years of professional experience in videography and photography
• FAA Part 107 certification is preferred for this role
• Strong, demonstrated portfolio showing real estate/home shoots, aerial drone footage, event coverage, portrait/people work, and branded content
• Proven ability to direct non-talent subjects, guiding real people through a shoot in a way that puts them at ease and produces natural, usable footage
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and After Effects (or comparable editing suite)
• Comfortable operating professional camera systems, drones, and lighting equipment, with expert level gimbal operation for smooth cinematic footage in a variety of shooting environments
• Strong communication skills, as you'll interact directly with clients and on-site contacts
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects at once
• Based in or able to reliably travel throughout the Kentucky region

Nice to Have

• Experience shooting drone content specifically for digital marketing campaigns (social, paid ads, web)
• Background in real estate or home/architectural photography
