Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking a PRN - Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU to join the team!
Durango Outpatient Surgery Center is a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. We have 5 operating rooms offering a full range of surgical procedures including: Bariatrics, Colorectal, General Surgery/Robotics, GI, OB/Gynecology, Sports Medicine, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, and Spine.
What You Will Do (Job Summary): The Registered Nurse PreOp/PACU provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.
Candidates must be able to work at least 6 shifts/month with some availability on Fridays.
Monday-Friday work schedule
NO call required
NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours
