We are seeking an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant-Certified for our Neurocritical Care position located at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.

Job Details:

• Direct Inpatient care in the high acuity NeuroICU.
• Work with a nationally recognized team of neurocritical care physicians!
• Join three (3) other NeuroICU APP's.
• Round in the NeuroICU and perform procedures ( will train in procedures )!
• Teamwork, critical thinking and empathy are all top skills needed for your success.
• Shift rotation of three (3) daytime 7a-7p per week OR three (3) nights 7p-7a per week.
• Seeing an average six (6) patients during day shift or covering entire ICU during the night shift with support from attending neuro intensivists, once onboarded.
• Shift rotation anticipated at 75% days and 25% nights.
• Cover three (3) weekend days per month once onboarded.
• Anticipated 3-month onboarding for ramp up; will provide onboarding course from Neurocritical Care Society.
• Practice in a state-of-the-art facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) or Physician Assistant Certification
• Prefer experience with line placement and intubation but will provide training.
• Missouri Acute Care NP and RN licensure or PA licensure
