POSITION SUMMARY

For these routes, you will pick up blood samples and specimens from doctors' offices and clinics and deliver them to labs for testing according to the dispatcher's instruction. You may also pick up pharmaceuticals and deliver them to nursing homes and clinics. There may be times when may have an as needed pick up for a sample and/or specimen that is not in that normal route. Being able to organize your deliveries in color coded bags and proper coolers is essential to ensuring that we prevent these patients from having to be poked or tested again. Attention to detail is an essential skill for these routes as you are handling critical packages that could affect someone's health. We are looking for someone who has flexibility for on-demand routes and who can fill in as needed.

WEEKDAY EVENING ROUTE (MON-FRI)

PAY STRUCTURE

Weekly settlements depending on the route.

DESIRED ROUTE QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must live in Birmingham, AL or a surrounding area.
2. Must have a valid driver's license.
3. Must have a fully functioning smartphone.
4. Must have a reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
5. Must be able to differentiate colors for coding purposes.
6. Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
7. Must maintain professionalism in all settings and keep a clean appearance.
8. Must be attentive to details.
9. Must be self-motivated and self-starter.
10. Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
