Job Description

Salary: $147,400 - 279,680 per year Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in machine learning engineering, GenAI, and data science within healthcare, insurance, clinical trials, or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing machine learning and data science projects from inception to completion including identifying client needs, proof-of-concept development, model construction, validation, and deployment
  • Strong collaborative skills for working in cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in Python and SQL programming languages
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages such as R and PySpark
  • Basic understanding of other languages like C# and Rust
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud analytics and distributed computing platforms, specifically Databricks
  • Proven ability to transition on-premise solutions to cloud-ready applications
  • Competence in creating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Infrastructure as Code technologies like Terraform
  • Expertise in APIs and AWS Cloud Services, including Lambda, Step Functions, and AWS Batch
  • Strong programming skills including debugging, package design, dependency management, and testing
  • Proficiency in designing various inference solutions such as single and batch scoring
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of AI infrastructure and applications, ensuring flawless integration with IT and Product teams
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner for Models as a Service, the AI architect, and various stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical and product goals
  • Provide advanced technical guidance in AI/ML engineering and data science, optimizing frameworks, libraries, and tools
  • Develop MLOps, LLMOps, and AIOps solutions organization-wide
  • Serve as a hands-on ML Engineer driving innovative product features from concept to market
  • Perform peer reviews and audits of models and code produced by team members to maintain high standards of quality and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to ML engineering efforts within the Models-as-a-Service platform, ensuring efficient and scalable model delivery
  • Mentor junior team members through technical guidance and support
  • Work alongside the data science team and other roles to facilitate model and feature delivery from initial concept to final deployment
  • Ensure the operational and technical success of model-driven products
  • Actively contribute to the growth and development of MAAS and Data Science initiatives
