Detail-oriented and motivated, the part-time hourly Graduate Research Assistant will assist with clinical content coding for an NCI-funded project examining racial healthcare disparities in cancer genetic counseling, working remotely under the guidance of experienced researchers. Key responsibilities: Assist in coding clinical content from cancer genetic counseling sessions to document discussions between genetic counselors and patients Collaborate with project leads to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of clinical topics Manage coding tasks efficiently, completing approximately 200 to 250 hours of work by the project deadline Required qualifications: Completion of at least one rotation in a cancer genetic counseling setting as part of an ACGC-accredited MS Genetic Counseling program Proven dependability and reliability in previous roles Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms, such as Zoom Commitment to fostering an environment of respect and professionalism in diverse settings
