Overview Medcor is looking to hire an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our employer‑based occupational health clinic in Midlothian, TX. The clinic operates Sunday‑Friday 10:00 AM‑8:00 PM, Thursday 7:00 AM‑5:00 PM and 1:00 PM‑11:00 PM. As the position is on‑as‑needed, there are no guaranteed hours; you can pick up occasional shifts if you have the availability. Why Work With Medcor? Responsibilities Collaborate with medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Provide patient care and ongoing workers’ compensation case management. Facilitate Return‑to‑Work (RTW) programs and monitor treatment plans. Work closely with outside medical providers. Perform daily operations at the onsite clinic, including superior customer service to clients and employees. Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols – MCPs). Build and maintain internal team relationships. Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts. Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings. Document care using EMR and other tools; manage case files and medical charting. Qualifications Valid licensure for the position you are applying for. Current CPR/BLS certification. Strong computer and technology skills, including familiarity with EMR software and ability to use cell phones, texting, and fax machines. Ability to lift a 50‑lb emergency response bag. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Positive, outgoing personality and willingness to go above and beyond. Passion for providing the best care to people. Ability to bring fun to the workplace. Preferred: experience working in a worksite clinic environment. Preferred: relevant occupational health experience.
