Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Drywall Finishers for projects located in or around State College, PA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $22-$26/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope Measurement & Layout; measuring framing, planning layouts, and minimizing seams Sheet Cutting; Scoring, snapping, and rasping boards for clean edge joints Fastener installation; driving screws to proper depth without puncturing paper faces Cutout Accuracy; trimming panels precisely around electrical boxes, vents, and plumbing Panel manipulation; operating panel lifts, jacks, and moving sheets up to 12 feet long Framing Inspection; Checking wood and metal studs for straightness before hanging Compound preparation; selecting and mixing all-purpose, lightweight, and quick-setting mud Tape embedding: pressing paper and mesh tape tightly into joints to prevent air bubbles Edge feathering; spreading successive mud coats smoothly to conceal seams and fasteners Precision sanding; operating pole sanders and hand blocks to eliminate ridges without gouging Corner bead installation; applying and finishing metal, vinyl, and paper-faced corner trims Level 1–5 Finishing; executing all drywall finishes from basic fire-taping to full skim coats Texture Application; spraying and hand-applying orange peel, knockdown, and skip-trowel finishes Company Details Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
