Job Summary Medcor is hiring an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in Conover, NC. Working Hours Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 5:30 pm. No guaranteed schedule; shifts are approximately 10 hours and vary based on client needs. Responsibilities Collaborate with Medcor medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. Daily duties include patient care, workers’ compensation case management, Return‑to‑Work (RTW) program facilitation, and treatment plan monitoring. Work closely with outside medical providers. Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols, known as the Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs) Build and maintain internal team relationships Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts Pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings Documentation of care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools Physical Assessment Testing (PATs) Case management Medical charting OSHA record‑keeping Qualifications Must: Love what you do Have valid licensure for the position you are applying for Have current CPR/BLS certification Be strong enough to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Have a positive and outgoing personality Be willing to go above and beyond Be passionate about people and providing the best care possible Be able to have fun Preferred Comfortable working in a construction environment Good with computers and some familiarity with EMR software Experience in emergency medicine or critical care Benefits Stability – Medcor has been around since 1984.
