Serving as the technical lead for reservoir engineering and subsurface modeling activities, the remote CCUS Reservoir Engineer III/Senior/Expert/Advisor will manage reservoir characterization, simulation, and optimization for carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) initiatives, focusing on Class VI and Class II projects. Key responsibilities Develop and apply reservoir simulation models to evaluate CO injection performance and long-term containment for Class VI and Class II projects Support the development of Engineering Well Designs (EWDs) for CO injection and monitoring wells through integrated reservoir engineering analysis Analyze and interpret field test data and injection performance to calibrate reservoir models and enhance predictive capabilities Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years of reservoir engineering experience with expertise in reservoir simulation and subsurface analysis Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering field; Master's degree preferred Direct experience with CO storage, enhanced recovery, or gas reservoir development projects Strong background in reservoir modeling for Class II and/or Class VI applications Familiarity with the Class VI permitting process and experience in preparing Class VI permit applications
