Job Title: Cable Assembly Technician
Job Description
Join our dynamic Cable Cell team, where you will contribute to building and assembling cables with precision and care. Our efficient batching method ensures smooth workflow, allowing you to work on various tasks such as cutting, stripping, crimping, or soldering wires. You will have the opportunity to be trained across different stations, ensuring diversity in your daily activities.
Responsibilities
Build cables from scratch, ensuring high quality and precision.
Perform soldering tasks if you hold IPC 610 or 620 certifications or obtain certification through company-provided training.
Rotate between stations to perform cutting, stripping, and crimping tasks.
Engage in mechanical and electronic assembly.
Utilize hand tools and torque wrenches effectively.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow blueprints and standard operating procedures.
Use computers to assist in assembly processes.
Essential Skills
Experience in cable/wire assembly or soldering.
Familiarity with medical assembly, blueprints, torque wrenches, and documentation.
Competence in wire stripping, cable harnessing, wire cutting, cable crimping, and soldering.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, comfortable, and well-lit facility that builds medical instruments in a regulated environment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with occasional Saturday work as needed. Enjoy a temperature-controlled workspace where you can wear headphones, but note that phone usage is strictly regulated. The dress code includes jeans and a collared shirt, with an ESD smock as PPE.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
