LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a premier Florida law firm to hire an experienced Word Processor for its dynamic document production team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and excels at producing polished, accurate, client-ready documents under tight deadlines.

As a key member of the firm's centralized production group, you'll support attorneys across multiple practice areas by leveraging advanced formatting skills, document automation tools, and sophisticated legal technologies. This is a technical production role, not a paralegal or legal assistant track, and requires a strong command of Microsoft Word, styles, redlining, complex formatting, and high-volume legal document workflows.

Candidates must have at least 3+ years of experience in a US law firm word-processing role, with a proven ability to manage revisions, create templates, troubleshoot formatting issues, and ensure accuracy and consistency across all legal documents.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Produce, edit, and finalize complex legal and business documents from drafts, marked versions, and dictation.
  • Apply advanced formatting using styles, templates, tables, cross-referencing, and other automated features.
  • Manage redlines, comparisons, and version control with exceptional accuracy.
  • Perform thorough proofreading for consistency, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
  • Convert documents between applications (Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Excel) while maintaining formatting integrity.
  • Build TOCs, TOAs, mail merges, labels, forms, and other automated document components.
  • Troubleshoot document errors, repair corrupted files, and provide technical support for formatting issues.
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools and modern legal technology to enhance efficiency and document quality.
  • Prepare charts, exhibits, and accompanying materials as needed.
  • Maintain familiarity with evolving document management systems and workflow tools.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3+ years of recent and dedicated legal word processing experience within a US law firm (large-firm experience preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (styles, complex formatting, tables, automated features).
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF editing/assembly tools.
  • Experience with comparison and version-control software such as Litera/Workshare.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and document management platforms.
  • Ability to type 60+ WPM with high accuracy.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, proofreading ability, and document quality control.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort supporting multiple attorneys and shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, including AI-enhanced tools.

Comprehensive Benefits Package to include:
PTO, Paid Holidays, 401(k) matching, Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Health Benefits, Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Account, and Health Savings Account

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
