Position Summary


The Imaging Technologist - Ultrasound (OB/GYN) is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations related to obstetrics and gynecology in accordance with established clinical protocols and professional standards. This position supports Whitman Hospital & Medical Clinics' per diem staffing program and requires full compliance with credentialing and regulatory requirements prior to approval.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations with accuracy and professionalism
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
• Operate ultrasound equipment according to manufacturer and facility guidelines
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA, and confidentiality standards
• ccurately document procedures and findings as required
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff as needed
• dhere to all computer security and confidentiality agreements
