Job Description GQR Healthcare is seeking skilled Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for corrections assignments throughout Texas. These contracts offer steady hours, overtime opportunities, and long‑term extensions across multiple facilities in Texas. Schedule & Work Hours Start Date: 05/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks (continuous extensions available) Hours per Week: 36/48 hours (block booking by the 20th of each month) Work Week: Saturday – Friday (OT calculated weekly) Holiday Coverage: Must be able to work through the holidays. No RTO allowed during holidays. Shifts: Days, Nights (12 hours) Location & Facilities Palestine, TX Gatesville, TX Beaumont, TX Huntsville, TX Beeville, TX Navasota, TX Gainesville, TX Compensation (Weekly Estimates) 36 hrs: $1,490/week 48 hrs: $1,910/week Requirements License: Active Texas or Compact LVN Certifications: BLS required Experience: Minimum 2 years as an LVN At least 1 year of acute Med‑Surg experience required Corrections experience not required Skills: Thick‑skinned, independent, adaptable Able to succeed in a fast‑paced corrections setting Other: COVID vaccine required (exemptions accepted per TDCJ policy) Float & Divert May float to nearby units (10–30 minutes away) with compensated drive time (up to 30 minutes). May be diverted to facilities within 50 miles of primary assignment.
