Job Description

Multi-Office Manager

This role will function as a multi-office manager, providing support to both our Emrick Blvd and Airport Road branches. Actively seeks opportunities to expand relationships focusing on the financial needs of all areas of the community while promoting the PSBT brand. Mentors, develops and coaches staff to deliver PSBT mission and values exceeding customer expectations. Effectively counsels clients, providing needs-based financial solutions. Capable of supporting clients in-person or virtually. Responsible for working as an active member of the branch office sales/service team and providing support related to day-to-day branch operations, administration, and sales.

Essential duties include:

  • Performs various duties relating to the Branch as follows:
  • Utilizes One Bank/One Team/One Brand discipline of collaboration and teamwork in order to achieve bank objectives.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of Bank's consumer deposit and loan product offerings and is well-versed in business deposit and cash management services.
  • Effectively engages and advises customers in person and/or virtually in order to attract, retain, and grow relationships.
  • Assists clients with deposit accounts and ancillary service selections in line with their needs, opening them in a timely manner. Independently handles complex business account openings with ease.
  • Proactively identifies and is able to source, process, and close consumer loans and residential portfolio mortgages.
  • Collaborates with internal partners to connect customers to experts who can help them with specialized financial services including Wealth Management, Cash Management, and Merchant Processing.
  • Leads, coaches, develops, and provides additional training to staff in customer relationship development and support.
  • Professionally represents the bank in the community, including volunteering and/or serving on non-profit boards and committees. Actively engages with the public at events to promote financial literacy and the bank's products and services.
  • Routinely performs networking and outbound sales calling to drive retail business opportunities to the branch and region.
  • Implements strategies to achieve goals developed for the office and region as part of the Retail Banking Division's annual operating plan.
  • Provides branch oversight in conjunction with Assistant Branch Manager in practice of procedures and policies. Keeps up-to-date on changing banking regulations to ensure staff compliance.
  • Capable of assisting with operational duties of the branch, including processing transactional activities as needed.
  • Quickly and independently resolves customer and staff issues with diplomacy.
  • May be required to manage more than one branch.

Ancillary duties include performing tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, talking, hearing, walking, using hands and fingers, handling or feeling objects, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and regular use of a computer. Routine travel out into the community for various events and initiatives is expected.

Basic qualifications include an associate's or bachelor's degree generally required, strong communication skills across various channels, excellent interpersonal relationship building skills, strong problem solving skills, ability to lead, coach and motivate others, superb networking skills, comprehensive knowledge of branch operations and administration, well-versed in consumer and business financial products and services, expert consumer lending skills, residential mortgage experience preferred, adept in use of various types of technology and software. A minimum of 5-7 or more years' experience in a related position normally required.
