Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Microbiology Data analysis Sample Management Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) Sample Management Associate Summary: The position will support the Pfizer Sanford, NC Quality Operations (QO) department by performing Quality Control (QC) activities associated with clinical and/or commercial products, raw materials, and validation and stability materials. Key responsibilities include management of sample chain of custody, data entry, data transcription, sample receipt, sample disposal, sample aliquot, and stability sample chambering and pulls. Responsibilities: Perform tasks associated with maintaining current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in compliant QC and Stability laboratories May perform sample receipt, disposal, and sample aliquots Ensure sample chain of custody via the global laboratory information management system (gLIMS) May perform stability sample chambering and stability sample pulls adhering to stability protocols Perform data entry and data transcription Perform daily support activities related to the QC Microbiology, QC Chemistry, and QC Bioassay laboratories Responsible for reporting issues to management and participating in issue resolution (such as reporting quality events and participating in associated laboratory investigations, reporting instrument/equipment issues, assisting with troubleshooting, etc.). Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience OR; Bioworks certificate/Associate's degree with 1-2 years of experience Intellectual capability to perform mathematical problems and perform data analysis Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Quality control experience in a laboratory setting Location/Schedule: This is a fully onsite role in Sanford, NC Please note contractors are engaged to provide services to Pfizer on a temporary basis in connection with a specific assignment. The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
