Job Description

One of the premier Healthcare organizations is seeking a Research Assistant to assist with dietary clinical trials in the cancer setting. Submit your resume and see what opportunities are available for you!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare research-specific meals according to dietitian-developed protocols for clinical studies.
• Use electronic balances, scales, and food service equipment to accurately measure and portion standardized diets.
• Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards within food preparation and work areas.
• Track and document food production schedules and quality assurance activities.
• Use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel to manage documentation and team communication.
• Measure, weigh, vacuum seal, and prepare food items while following quality control procedures.
• Package and label prepared food items safely for shipping or courier delivery.
• Support inventory management by assisting with ordering food and supplies for study protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Basic Science or related field.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and follow strict research protocols.
• Comfortable with standing for long periods of time and preparing food items based on strict dietary requirements, restrictions or specific gram weights.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $17.50/hr. not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
