We combine state of the art interventional psychiatry procedures such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Spravato treatment with a personalized approach to mental health care, serving a diverse adult and adolescent population.  

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in psychiatry or behavioral medicine. You will work collaboratively with our psychiatrist and clinical staff to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits

  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians

  • Prescribe medications and monitor treatment efficacy and side effects

  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and wellness strategies

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system

  • Participate in case consultations and staff meetings

     

Qualifications:

  • Current California PA license and NCCPA certification

  • DEA license with schedule II-V prescribing authority (or eligible)

  • Experience in psychiatry, or a related field preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to culturally competent, patient-centered care

While prior experience is preferred, we welcome recent graduates who are certified and eager to learn in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and room patients, taking vital signs and documenting medical history

Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during psychiatric and neurological evaluations

Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate referrals as needed

Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and securely

Perform administrative tasks including answering phones, managing messages, and processing patient paperwork

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment

Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations

Support providers and clinical team with other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required

Experience: Previous experience in a mental health, neurology, or outpatient clinic is preferred but not required

Technical Skills: Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems; basic computer proficiency

Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, organization, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
