Job Title: Production Assembler - 1st Shift
Department: Operations
Reports to: Director of Manufacturing
Work Location: In-Person
Pay Range: Hourly position paid based on experience
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, 40 hours/week

Job Summary: The Production Assembler will assist in building the Elucent Envisio system, which consists of an electromechanical chassis, computer, display, and an electrical patient pad. This will require understanding assembly drawings and manufacturing procedures. This role may require using equipment such as electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter), vision systems and standard mechanical tools for assembly.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Job Responsibilities: Assist in building the production Envisio systems through the following activities:
• Assist in kitting, cycle counting and general materials processes as applicable
• Assemble Envisio system sub-assemblies using standard mechanical assembly processes
• Perform mapping and system assessments/tests to ensure functionality of Envisio systems
• Perform depot and repair processes for the Envisio system.
• Transfer released materials to inventory
• Adhere to work instructions and document corresponding work done
• Exhibit good documentation practices
• Build test articles and fixtures for prototyping and pilot needs
• Maintain compliance with ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection procedures
Qualifications Education and Experience: • High school diploma required
• 2+ years assembly experience required
• 1+ years medical device assembly preferred
• Intermediate computer proficiency required
• Startup, small business experience preferred
Required Skills/Abilities: This is a startup med tech company that requires an assembler who is detail-oriented, willing to learn, and a self-starter.
Physical Requirements / Work Conditions: Mixture of seated and standing work
• Ability to lift 55 lbs required
• Ability to stand for 4 hours or more
