Job description:

PFL Services is looking for a candidate that has at least 2 years of plastic extrusion experience in the Asheboro, NC area. Have 1st and 3rd shift available!

Responsibilities:

• Select machine dies.
• Determine setup procedures.
• Reel extruded products into rolls or reels.
• Specify lengths and weights of rolls or reels.
• Adjust controls as necessary.
• Install, connect, test and adjust equipment.
• String up lines.
• Clean tools and tooling.
• Operate extruders.
• Replace worn dies.
• Set controls to regulate vacuum, air pressure, sizing rings and temperature.
• Synchronize speed of extrusion.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Locate defects on extruded parts.
• Check for conformance to specifications.
• Record product measurements.
• Strictly adheres to company and plant safety policies and procedures.
• Completes all annual training as required.
• Maintain and enforce a safe, clean work environment.

Physical Demands:

• Moving and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Walking, standing on concrete 8+ hrs./day.

Work Environment:

• Works in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Climate may be cold or hot.
• Exposed to dust, odors, noise, fumes associated with the extrusion manufacturing process.

Job Location: Asheboro NC

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• 1st shift: 7am to 3pm
• 2nd shift: 3pm to 11pm 
• Monday to Friday
