Parking Attendant

The Parking Attendant is responsible for supervising all garage and surface lot activities related to parking in the hospital environment.

Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

1. Calculates parking rates.
2. Ensures amounts of payments received cash disbursed are correct.
3. Records and assigns validation accounts to departments accurately.
4. Exercises courtesy and tact with patients/visitors.
5. Conducts regular site inspections for conditions which need attention such as housekeeping and unsafe hazards.
6. Responds immediately to spills.
7. Clears stairwells and other where debris collects.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 plus years of experience in public parking facilities operation or related experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
