Position: Oracle to PostgreSQL Migration Architect
Job Description: Migration Design: Design scalable, secure PostgreSQL schema architectures, converting Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, triggers, views, and packages to PL/pgSQL. Technical Execution: Perform data migrations using tools like AWS SCT/DMS, Ora2Pg, or pgloader, ensuring data integrity. Oracle Expertise: Proficient in Oracle Database Administration, PL/SQL, and SQL performance tuning. PostgreSQL Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL internals, PL/pgSQL, and configuration. Migration Tools: Experience with migration tools such as AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), or Ora2Pg. 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration, with 3+ years specifically in Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration. Experience on creating microservices architecture in database. Python coding experience Mandatory Skills: PostgreSQL. Experience: 8-10 Years. The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $173,800. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
