Job Title: Security Systems Lead Installer (3-4 Day Project)

Duration: Monday April 20th- Wednesday April 22nd (possibility of Thursday as well)

Pay: $40–$55/hr.

Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician for a fast-tracked installation project. This project involves a full setup of IP-based security surveillance and networking infrastructure. We need someone reliable, efficient, and technically sound to ensure a clean, professional finish. We are a growing start-up and this project could lead to additional part-time / full-time job opportunities down the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Cable Infrastructure: Pulling and routing low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) through commercial/residential ceilings or conduits.
• Hardware Installation: Mounting and positioning IP security cameras for optimal coverage.
• Networking: Installing and configuring basic network hardware (Switches, NVRs, Routers) to bring the system online.
• Termination: Precision termination of RJ45 connectors and ensuring all lines are tested and labeled.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of proven experience in low-voltage cabling, IP camera installation, or network setup.
• Technical Proficiency: A virtual skill assessment may be requested to ensure you have demonstrated knowledge of networking and security hardware.
• Tools: Must have basic hand tools (crimpers, strippers, drill, etc.).
• Professionalism: Ability to work independently and maintain a clean job site.

Schedule

• Hours: Mon-Wed Overnight - Starting at 7pm (standard shift is 8-10 hours per night), possibility of returning Thursday for additional clean-up.
