Rate of pay: $15.00 – $16.00. Final compensation is based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience. Essential Functions:

• Ensure member & guest safety by remaining vigilant at all times.
• Respond quickly, intelligently, decisively and in accordance with established

emergency action plans and expectations within the written Aquatic Safety Plan.

• Check pool chemicals at regular intervals throughout your shift and document
• Swim test, mark and not all green and yellow wristband swimmers 14 years old

and younger * Follow aquatic program schedule and put in, take out or move lane lines accordingly * Be familiar with the location of the other departments in the branch and be prepared to respond to incidents and accidents in these areas Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 16 years of age
• Must have current Ellis & Associates CARMP license (Free training available

if not already certified) * A minimum of 20/25 or 20/25 corrected vision and free from permanent abnormalities of either eye. If required, wearing corrective lenses as needed will be required to assure a minimum of 20/25 vision while on duty as a lifeguard.
