We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Freight Broker to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in connecting shippers with reliable carriers, driving revenue, and ensuring seamless, cost-effective transportation solutions. What You’ll Do Proactively source and secure freight opportunities within our asset-based 3PL network Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carrier partners Serve as the primary liaison between shippers and carriers to ensure smooth execution Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining profitability and service quality Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring on-time performance Maintain compliance with brokerage licensing and industry regulations Manage documentation including bills of lading, claims, and insurance paperwork Track and monitor loads, quickly resolving any issues or service disruptions Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and operational data Optimize equipment and carrier utilization to improve efficiency What You Bring 1 + years of experience in freight brokerage, dispatching, or load planning Strong understanding of TMS systems and 3PL operations Proven skills in negotiation, pricing, and sales strategy Ability to build trust and maintain lasting customer and carrier relationships High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative processes Knowledge of transportation safety and compliance standards Office-based role in a collaborative team setting Standard business hours with occasional evenings/weekends as needed Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and problem-solving Why Join Us At Findlay Tall Timbers Distribution Center, you’ll be part of a team that values performance, integrity, and strong partnerships .
