Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Freight Broker located in Carmel, IN.

The Freight Broker will be responsible for:

• Coordinating shipments from pickup to delivery
• Managing day-to-day brokerage operations
• Providing a high level of customer service
• Handling dispatching and carrier communication
• Building and maintaining client relationships through account management
• Developing and growing your own book of business

This role includes negotiating freight rates, tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining consistent communication with both customers and carriers.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and dispatching skills
• Ability and willingness to build your own book of business
• Experience in account management and client relationship building (preferred)
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Familiarity with logistics software is a plus
• Previous experience in logistics or transportation is a plus
