Flight Engineering Manager (Flight Engineering Management) Company: The Boeing Company Location: Berkeley, MO Job Overview Air Dominance is looking for an engineering manager to lead a team of Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineers who execute critical development efforts on T‑7A Flight Control Law Design, Analysis, Formal Qualification Test, and Flight Test, as well as GNC‑related production activities. Responsibilities Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Flight Engineering. Develop and execute project and process plans; implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. Acquire resources for projects and processes; provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements. Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Manage, develop, and motivate employees. Complete the Boeing First‑Line Leader assessment as part of the selection process. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) or completion of the Boeing internal course \"Exploring Leadership\". 5+ years of experience in an engineering discipline. 3 years of experience working in Flight Controls related engineering. Preferred Qualifications Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Excellent communication skills. Experience with Boeing military programs and processes. Experience developing and administering budgets, schedules and performance standards, including EVM. Prior oversight of technical effort of medium‑sized or multi‑skill teams. Pay Range $142,800 - $193,200 Additional Information Requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance and a US Secret Clearance Post‑Start. Relocation offered based on candidate eligibility.
