Duties

• Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing construction materials and tools on-site
• Prepare work areas by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up safety barriers or equipment
• Be able to carry, lift, load/unload construction materials as needed
• Support skilled tradespeople by holding materials, operating basic tools, and performing routine tasks
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
• Help with site cleanup and waste removal to keep the construction area tidy
• Assist in setting up scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures as needed
• Carry out basic demolition under supervision to facilitate project progress

Experience

• Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors when necessary
• Strong attention to safety procedures and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a safe work environment
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus but can be learned on the job
