Why Join Us

At St. Mark's, music plays a central role in bringing our community together. From daily chapel to special traditions and performances, we value the power of shared musical experiences to inspire, connect, and reflect our collective spirit.

As a residential school, we view the work of faculty holistically. Even in part-time roles, faculty contribute meaningfully to the life of the School, building relationships with students and supporting programs that extend beyond the classroom.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the musical and spiritual life of the School through both formal instruction and community-wide programming. This is a 1 year position starting in August, 2026 and running through May, 2027.

  • Collaborate with the Chaplains to support and enhance the Chapel program through thoughtful musical leadership
  • Facilitate community singing during regular and evening chapel services

  • Support students in preparing for District and All-State music opportunities
  • Serve as a faculty advisor and mentor for student-led a cappella groups
  • Lead the planning and execution of the annual WICK A Cappella Festival
  • Contribute creatively to the musical and cultural life of the School through performances, events, and collaborations with students and faculty
