Caregiver Mentor / Team Lead

Are you an experienced caregiver who enjoys helping others succeed? Freedom Home Care is looking for a compassionate and dependable Caregiver Mentor / Team Lead to support both our clients and caregiving team.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on caregiving while also helping train, encourage, and support fellow caregivers in the field. You’ll work closely with clients, families, and our office team to help ensure quality care and positive experiences for everyone involved.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday standard schedule
• One weekday on-call rotation per week: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• Weekend on-call rotation approximately every 5th weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients
• Support and mentor caregivers in the field
• Assist with caregiver training and ongoing support
• Complete quality assurance visits and client check-ins
• Communicate with caregivers, clients, families, and office staff
• Help problem-solve care concerns and scheduling needs
• Participate in the on-call rotation for urgent client needs
• Attend team meetings and company activities

Qualifications

• 1+ years of caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, organized, and professional
• Comfortable mentoring and supporting other caregivers
• Ability to travel throughout the Mankato and Owatonna areas
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to assist clients with physical caregiving tasks
