Job Title: Assembly Technician $18/Hour (1st shift)
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for lifting and assembling parts, operating basic hand tools, and following on-screen instructions to complete essential assembly tasks. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and experience in manufacturing or general labor.
Key Responsibilities
Lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds onto the assembly line
Operate a small hoist to assist with heavier parts
Follow computer-displayed instructions to determine assembly steps
Use basic hand tools such as air rivet guns and battery-powered drills
Perform repetitive assembly tasks with consistency and accuracy
Essential Skills
Previous experience in assembly or production environments
Proficiency with hand tools, including air rivet guns and power drills
Ability to interpret blueprints and understand mechanical assembly
Strong mechanical aptitude and general labor experience
Additional Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
Skilled in using power tools and tape measures
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred

Schedule
Shift:
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Breaks include:
Two 15‑minute breaks
One 30‑minute unpaid lunch
Flexibility: Some employees choose to eat during breaks to leave earlier
Voluntary overtime available before or after the regular shift

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
