Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Administrator to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $30.00 to $37.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, credit memos, and payments daily while maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Perform remote check deposits and process credit card payments efficiently.
  • Conduct collection calls three times a week to update past-due customer accounts and manage outstanding balances.
  • Handle credit clearance procedures, including running credit reports and processing trade references.
  • Manage accounts payable functions, including posting invoices, reviewing employee and freight expenses, and assisting with trade show and advertising expenses.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Access, and D365 for accounting tasks and data management.
  • Have at least 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable, including 3-way matching.
  • Show experience with AR and AP coding, ensuring accuracy in financial processing.
  • Possess familiarity with Certify/Emburse Expense and Invoice software (preferred).
  • Exhibit prior experience in a manufacturing environment and utilizing multi-line phone systems.
Qualifications:
  • Hold an associate degree in Accounting or a related field, with substantial coursework in accounting.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing financial transactions.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment while handling multiple financial responsibilities.
  • Uphold professionalism and discretion in managing sensitive financial data.
